Paged to assist after a dog fell over the cliffs to the north of Cove harbour. Aberdeen ILB was unable to assist due to heavy swell and members of the cliff team were lowered to recover the dog "Cassie".

Paged from a report from Grampian Police of the possibility of a distressed and emotional female possibly in the area of Aberdeen beach. Woman found shortly after start of search in another area of town.

Called to investigate reports of red flares seen over the coast. Nothing found, appears to have been a meteor shower due to other 999 calls received from other areas.

Called to man the Emergency Landing Site @ Aberdeen beach for R137 not required as helo managed to land at Dyce. Tasked to pick up casualty and transport him to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as no ambulance was available for some time.

Paged to report from Grampian Police of a tired and emotional female on Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. Casualty recovered from bridge.

Paged to report of tired and emotional person on Foot bridge near Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. Casualty monitored whilst police chatted with him and ILB requested to remain out of sight down stream. Person fell from bridge top of parapet into water and was recovered from water prior to ILB arriving on scene.

Paged to report of person falling from cliffs North of Newtonhill. Casualty had fallen 30/40 feet into water whilst free climbing. Casualty recovered from water and wet clothing removed prior to team arriving. Rescue 137 diverted from another call out and transferred his casualty with minor injuries to the waiting ambulance. Casualty was assisted onto stretcher and flown to ARI.

Paged to report of person falling from cliffs near Nigg bay, who was spotted by a creel boat, recovered from water and taken to Cove. Taken to ARI by ambulance.

Paged by MRCC to assist Grampian Police in search for tired and confused male between Park Hill Bridge and Persley Bridge. Area covered nothing found. Police found casualty wandering streets as the team ended the search. Team exercise cancelled due to call out ( exercise was a search!!! )

Paged by MRCC to rubber dingy drifting out to sea at Balmedie beach. 2 dingy's were found to be offshore but returned to the beach under there own steam. Safety advice given by coastguard and lifeboat personnel on scene.

Tasked by MRCC Aberdeen to obtain details of vessel "Shakespeare" which had run aground near Campbell's bar in Aberdeen Harbour. Harbour board aware is had run aground at 1700 hrs on the 19th due to a fouled prop.

Paged by request of Grampian Police to report of persons stuck on cliffs near Cove. Stood down, unclear information via first 999 call, police incident, no coastguard presence required. FAWGI.

Paged to report of person in water near Queen Elizabeth II Bridge. On arrival casualty found to have fallen from bridge into rocks on the North East bank. Assisted ambulance service personnel to recover casualty back to the ambulance.

Paged to report of 3 youths in difficulty off rocks to the North of Newtonhill. Members of the Portlethen immediate response team found casualties had been climbing and had gone for a swim in rough seas. Advice given, backup team and lifeboat stood down.

Paged to assist Police in search for a missing person from Cults. Team requested to search from Bridge of Dee to Murtle House for a 61 yr old male. Casualty spotted in water by a member of the public at the rear of one of the Robert Gordon University campuses. Tasked to locate casualty. Casualty was recovered from the water by Grampian Police underwater search unit. Stonehaven Coastguard Team, R-137 and Aberdeen ILB also assisted with the search.

Paged to report of a 17yr old male who had fallen onto a ledge below an overhang whilst climbing with 2 others at Floors Craig. A cliff man assisted the casualty who was complaining of lower back pain, until R-137 was able to airlift him to ARI due to the nature of his injuries this was deemed the safest method of recovery.

Paged to assist police in search for missing 8 year old missing from his Kincorth home since 2030 hrs the previous night. Searched from harbour mouth west passed Bridge of Dee. Stood down when Dylan Trendall was found safe and well. News story.

Paged to assist police to search for a fisherman missing from Blowup nose area since 19/02/05 having failed to return home after a fishing competition. Area from Cove to Portlethen searched nothing found.

Paged report of a fisherman in water off Portlethen Village. First CG team on scene within 10 min's. of pager activation spotted casualty in water. Casualty was lost from sight but located later & recovered from water see here for further details.

Paged to assist Grampian Police in search for tired and emotional missing person at Bridge of Balgownie. Searched from Bridge of Balgownie to mouth of Don and down to golf driving range.

Called to 121.5 Mhz EPIRB hit. Checked Bridge of Don area identified by satellite, Lifeboat launched to check Aberdeen Bay, then proceeded to airport. Personal EPIRB found at heliport and deactivated.

On the way back from job 4 re tasked to Footdee area, as a dog had entered the water heading to Norway and there was concern for members of the public entering the water to get the dog.

Paged to assist Grampian Police with communication to helo R-137 at Monymusk, in search for a missing person.

Paged to fisherman who had fallen on rocks near May Craig, Portlethen Village, sustaining a suspected dislocated shoulder and back injuries. Due to poor conditions the ILB was ruled out and the casualty was stabilised by coastguard and ambulance personnel then transferred to hospital by helicopter R-137.
