Assistance provided to casualty with suspected epileptic fit who had collapsed at the water’s edge after taking part in the Nippy dipper event. Casualty moved to Beach leisure centre to await arrival of ambulance. British Red Cross first aiders in attendance.

Paged to assist Rescue Bond one with patient with severe abdominal pains at ARI. Helicopter redirected to Aberdeen Heliport (Bond) and team tasked to meet helicopter there. Before arrival crew advised casualty had recovered and now walking wounded, stood down.

Paged to report of ordinance found on beach near Torry Battery. Meet with 1st informant and was shown location and a picture which had been taken earlier before the tide had covered the object. Recoqnised the object as an oxy-acetylene bottle which had been reported to us a few years before but not removed by the council. Details passed to the operations room.

Paged to report of person jumping from Bridge of Don into river. Casualty reported to be treading water in river. On arrival casualty was being assisted by personnel from Ambulance service special operations unit in river. Team assisted ambulance personnel in extracting casualty from river and awaited imminent arrival of Rescue 137 who then airlifted casualty direct to ARI.

Searched from Parkhill Bridge North of Dyce to Brig o' Balgownie approx. 7 miles. Crew from Aberdeen ILB searched from mouth of Don to Brig o' Balgownie. Nothing found so returned to station. Paged to report of person in water after being washed off rocks near Portlethen harbour. Casualty had been recovered from water by local fishermen in a boat. Casualty was given first aid and then airlifted from shore by Rescue 137 to waiting ambulance due to hazards involved with carrying casualty up steep path & his condition. Aberdeen lifeboat also stood by.

Paged to report of 2 casualties stuck at bottom of slope opposite Bon Accord glass (River Dee) after falling from foot path. One casualty had a suspected fracture to the wrist. First aid given on scene and casualties both recovered by ILB due to their age and the slippery surface as the tide was out.
